PJM files interconnect for roughly 10-MW Union Bridge Solar project in Maryland

PJM Interconnection on July 15 filed with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) an executed interconnection service agreement (ISA) with Pivotal Power Solutions Inc. and interconnecting transmission owner Potomac Edison.

This ISA facilitates the interconnection to the PJM transmission system of 9.9 MW (Maximum Facility Output) at the Union Bridge Solar Facility, to be located at 536 Green Valley Road, Union Bridge, Carroll County, Maryland. The ISA indicates that Pivotal Power shall have 3.8 MW of Capacity Interconnection Rights commencing May 31, 2019, at the Point(s) of Interconnection specified in this ISA.

The project is under PJM Queue Position #AB1-096. It is an inverter-based photovoltaic ground-mounted solar generator. On or before Nov. 1, 2017, the developer must demonstrate commercial operation of all generating units.
