
The Midcontinent Independent System Operator on July 20 filed with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission a Generator Interconnection Agreement with Tuscola Wind III LLC and interconnecting transmission owner International Transmission Co. d/b/a ITC Transmission for a 101-MW wind project in Tuscola County, Michigan.
MISO has designated this project as Project No. J301 in its interconnection queue. This is a 101-MW net wind project, with all studies performed at or below these outputs. The facility is to be composed of fifty nine (59) General Electric 1.7-MW wind turbine units. The Point of Interconnection will be at the point where the lead line from the generating facility lands on the 345-kV bus at the new ITC J301 Interconnection Substation.
The project’s targeted commercial operations date is Nov. 1, 2017.
