
The Midcontinent Independent System Operator on July 19 filed with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission a Generator Interconnection Agreement with Sugar Creek Solar LLC and interconnecting transmission owner International Transmission Co. d/b/a ITC Transmission for a 100-MW project in Michigan.
MISO has designated this project as Project No. J419 in its interconnection queue. This is a solar photovoltaic facility with two, 50-MW phases rated at 100 MW net total, with all studies performed at or below these outputs.
The facility is to be composed of one hundred ten (110) GE ProSolar 1 MVA PV units. The Point of Interconnection will be at the point where the lead line from the generating facility lands on the 120-kV bus at the new Milan Substation of ITC, at breaker HD position.
The project’s targeted commercial operation date is Dec. 6, 2018.
