Headwaters Solar affiliate seeks North Carolina nod on 5-MW Tomlin Mill project

Tomlin Mill Solar LLC applied June 29 at the North Carolina Utilities Commission for a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity on a 5-MW (ac) project to be located off of Tomlin Mill Road, approximately 4,200 feet west of the intersection of Tomlin Mill Road and 1-77 in Statesville, Iredell County, North Carolina.

The project is to come on-line as of Sept. 1, 2017. The applicant plans to sell the output from this $7.8 million project to Duke Energy Carolinas.
