AEP OnSite seeks renewable certificate for 3.6-MW solar project in Ohio

AEP OnSite Partners LLC on June 10 applied at the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio for certification as an eligible Ohio renewable energy resource generating facility for the Clyde Solar Array, located at 749 W. McPherson Hwy at the city of Clyde, Sandusky County, Ohio.

Said the filing: “The array is a 3.6MWdc PV system including 11,800 Hanwha Q-Cells 310W modules. The racking system is a single axis tracking system manufactured by Solar Flex Rack of Youngstown. The power is converted by two LTI 1.4MW DC to AC inverters. The systems are constructed by Advanced Distributed Generation out of Maumee, OH.”

The application shows the project with an expected placed-in-service date of June 1 of this year.
