PJM files wholesale deal for Lumberton Solar project in New Jersey

PJM Interconnection on May 12 filed with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission an executed Wholesale Market Participation Agreement with Lumberton Solar W2-090 LLC and interconnecting transmission owner Public Service Electric and Gas.

“PJM is submitting the Lumberton Solar WMPA for filing because Lumberton Solar intends to engage in wholesale sales in the PJM markets from a generating facility connected to PSE&G’s distribution facilities,” said the filing.

This deal covers the 6.8-MW Lumberton Solar facility, to be located on Stacy Haines Road at Lumberton, New Jersey. The project consists of solar panels connecting through twelve 625-kW inverters. It is under PJM Queue Position #AB1-025.

On or before Dec. 1, 2016, the WMPA requires that Lumberton Solar must demonstrate commercial operation of all generating units.
