PJM files wholesale deal for IMG’s 20-MW Pine Hill project in Pennsylvania

PJM Interconnection on May 18 filed with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission an executed Wholesale Market Participation Agreement with IMG Development LLC and interconnecting transmission owner Pennsylvania Electric for a 19.9-MW project in Pennsylvania.

“PJM is submitting this Agreement for filing because the Wholesale Market Participant intends to engage in wholesale sales in the PJM markets from a generating facility connected to the Transmission Owner’s distribution facilities,” said the filing.

This project is under PJM Queue Position #AA1-106. It is called the Pine Hill Generating Station, to be located at State Route 414 and Ogdensburg Road, Union Township, Pa. Maximum Facility Output is 19.9 MW It will consist of five 4-MW generators.

On or before Dec. 31, 2017, IMG must demonstrate commercial operation of all generating units.

IMG in the last couple of years has been permitting several gas-fired power projects of a similar size in Pennsylvania.
