PJM files wholesale deal for AT&T Services fuel cell project in New Jersey

PJM Interconnection on May 31 filed with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission an executed Wholesale Market Participation Agreement with AT&T Services Inc. and interconnecting transmission owner Atlantic City Electric for a small fuel cell project.

“PJM is submitting this Agreement for filing because the Wholesale Market Participant intends to engage in wholesale sales in the PJM markets from a generating facility connected to the Transmission Owner’s distribution facilities,” said PJM.

This project is under PJM Queue Position #AB1-119. It is called the Tansboro Road facility, located at 263 Tansboro Road, Berlin, N.J. The Maximum Facility Output is 0.735 MW. It is a natural gas-fed fuel cell facility with a 480/12 kV step-up transformer.

On or before Nov. 30, 2016, AT&T Services must demonstrate commercial operation of all generating units.
