PJM files altered wholesale deal for 10-MW solar project in Maryland

PJM Interconnection on May 11 filed with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission an unexecuted Wholesale Market Participation Agreement with Allegheny Solar 1 LLC and interconnecting transmission owner Delmarva Power and Light.

This Amended WMPA modifies a prior WMPA to reflect the assignment of PJM Queue Position No. Y1-079 from SolarCity Corp. to Allegheny Solar 1.

The WMPA covers the 10-MW Wye Mills Solar Site project, to be located adjacent to and north of Queen Anne Hwy (404) approximately 1 mile east of its intersection with Hwy 50 and 2 miles east of the town of Wye Mills, Maryland. This is a ground-mounted, inverter-based, solar photovoltaic facility consisting of solar arrays and a 480/25 kV collector system.

On or before July 29, 2016, Allegheny Solar 1 must demonstrate commercial operation of all generating units.
