Interconnect terminated for 20-MW SunPower project in Georgia

Southern Company Services filed on May 24 at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission a notice of termination of a Small Generator Interconnection Agreement originally with Infigen Energy US Development LLC, dated July 24, 2015, for the 20-MW (net) Georgia Sun I Project (under queue position IC-284).

In October 2015, SunPower DevCo LLC notified Southern that SunPower had acquired the solar assets of Infigen and had renamed Infigen as Project Sunday Development LLC. Last month, SunPower notified Southern that it wanted to terminate the Interconnection Agreement. That letter didn’t say why the termination was being requested. The project was to interconnect with Southern’s Georgia Power affiliate.

A project contact is: Project Sunday Development LLC c/o SunPower DevCo LLC, Attention: Drew Gibbons (who wrote the termination letter), 1414 Harbor Way South, Ste. 1901, Richmond, CA 94804.
