Broadwind Energy names Stephanie K. Kushner as President and CEO

Broadwind Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ:BWEN) today announced that Stephanie K. Kushner has been named President and Chief Executive Officer, effective May 20. Kushner, 60, has been the Company’s Interim President and CEO since December 2015.

She is a member of the Board of Directors and has served as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer since August 2009. The Board voted to appoint Kushner to her new position during its May meeting.

Prior to joining Broadwind in 2009 as Chief Financial Officer, Kushner served as CFO for publicly traded Federal Signal Corporation for six years, and as Vice President, Treasury and Corporate Development at FMC Technologies Corporation. Before that, she held several global finance leadership positions with FMC Corporation, and earlier positions with Homestake Mining and Cypress Minerals. Stephanie holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Douglass College at Rutgers University.
