Big chill continues in May in East, Central states

Chilly air has settled into the central and eastern U.S. for the early part of the workweek, according to the National Weather Service.

Temperatures are forecast to be 10 to 25 degrees below average across a large area of the Rockies, Plains, Midwest, Great Lakes, and Ohio Valley. Freeze Warnings are in effect for parts of the Midwest and Great Lakes.
