PJM ends wholesale deal for 10-MW Green Energy solar project in N.J.

PJM Interconnection notified the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission on April 29 of the cancellation of a December 2012 Wholesale Market Participation Agreement entered into among PJM, Green Energy Partners LLC and interconnecting transmission owner Jersey Central Power & Light.

Said PJM: “The Green Energy WMPA is being cancelled because project milestones in the Green Energy WMPA were breached and not cured, resulting in the default of the Green Energy WMPA.”

The agreement covered the 10-MW Andover Solar Farm project, to be located at 83 Brighton Road, Andover, New Jersey. It was to be a ground-mounted, inverter-based, solar photovoltaic facility consisting of solar arrays and a 34 kV collector system.

A project contact is: Green Energy Partners LLC, 31 Fairview Hill Road, Newton, NJ 07860, Attn: Michael Zecca.
