FERC accepts revised interconnect for Alpaca power project in Pa.

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission on April 12 accepted a March 9 filing by PJM Interconnection of an unexecuted Interconnection Service Agreement with Alpaca Energy LLC and interconnecting transmission owner Pennsylvania Electric.

This Amended ISA which was previously designated as Original Service Agreement No. 4355, filed and accepted by the commission in a prior docket. It was being modified to reflect an assignment of PJM Queue Position #Z2-011 from IMG Development LLC to Alpaca Energy.

Thye ISA covers the Glory Barn Road Generating Facility Alpaca, to be located at Rt 414 and Glory Barn Road, Canton Township, Pa. The Maximum Facility Output would be 19.9 MW, coming from five 4-MW reciprocating engines connected to a common bus.

The revised ISA still calls for commercial operation by June 30, 2017.
