FERC accepts interim interconnect for 400-MW project in Virginia

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission on April 14 accepted a March 18 filing by PJM Interconnection of an executed Interim Interconnection Service Agreement with Doswell Limited Partnership and interconnecting transmission owner Virginia Electric and Power.

The Doswell Interim ISA facilitates the interconnection of the Doswell SC Units 2 & 3, which will comprise a 400-MW generating facility located in Ashland in Hanover County, Virginia. The Doswell Interim ISA lists the engineering and design activities to be conducted by Virginia Electric and Power in connection with grid upgrades necessary for the interconnection of the project.

Doswell SC Units 2 & 3 will be located at 10098 Old Ridge Road. Doswell, under this agreement, has a deadline of July 1, 2017, to complete certain interconnection facilities in order to receive backfeed power.
