Storm system to hit Intermountain West, Rockies, Desert Southwest

A storm system will bring significant snowfall to the Intermountain West and the Central/Northern Rockies on Monday, impacting travel, according to the National Weather Service.

Further south, this system will bring very strong winds to the Desert Southwest, making driving difficult and potentially downing trees and power lines. The high winds will increase the wildfire threat, especially in parts of New Mexico.
