Apex’s 200-MW Pumpkin Farm Wind project in Texas due for operation in 2017

A Generation Interconnection Agreement between Sharyland Utilities LP and Pumpkin Farm Wind LLC was filed March 9 with the Public Utility Commission of Texas, covering a 200-MW project due for commercial operation on May 1, 2017.

The GIA covers the Blanco Canyon Wind Farm. which is being developed by Pumpkin Farm Wind. The Point of Interconnection is located in Floyd County, Texas, in Sharyland’s White River Substation. It will consist of 83 General Electric wind turbines at 2.4 MW each.
