Storm to bring weather hazards to the South, Mid-Atlantic and Great Lakes

A storm system will bring the potential for severe thunderstorms with damaging winds and tornadoes to the Gulf Coast Tuesday into Tuesday night, and across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic region Wednesday into Wednesday night, according to the National Weather Service.

This storm will also produce heavy rain from the Mississippi Valley to the mid-Atlantic. A swath of heavy snow is also possible in parts of the Midwest and Great Lakes.
