PJM amends deal for New Jersey solar project to reflect new developer

PJM Interconnection on Jan. 28 filed with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission an unexecuted Wholesale Market Participation Agreement with Shotco Energy LLC and interconnecting transmission owner Jersey Central Power & Light.

This is an amended WMPA that reflects the assignment since the filing in 2013 of the original WMPA of PJM queue #Y1-020 from Beaver Run Solar Farm LLC to Shotco. The amended WMPA still says that on or before Sept. 30, 2015, Shotco must demonstrate commercial operation of all generating units.

This is still called the Beaver Run Solar Farm project, located at 283 Beaver Run Road, Lafayette, New Jersey. The Maximum Facility Output is 9.9 MW. This is a ground-mounted, inverter-based, solar photovoltaic facility consisting of solar arrays and a 34 kV collector system.

A project contact is: Shotco Energy LLC, 10 Wagaraw Road, Hawthorne, NJ 07506, Attn: Charles H. Shotmeyer.
