The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission on Jan. 7 accepted a PJM Interconnection filing from Nov. 18, 2015, of an executed Interconnection Service Agreement (ISA) with Mill Branch Wind LLC and interconnecting transmission owner Delmarva Power and Light for a 100-MW project in Maryland.
The Mill Branch ISA facilitates the interconnection to the PJM transmission system of the Mills Branch Wind Farm, to be located in Kent County, Maryland, and have a Maximum Facility Output of 100 MW. The Mill Branch ISA indicates that Mill Branch will have 13 MW of Capacity Interconnection Rights.
Under this agreement, on or before April 30, 2018, Mills Branch Wind must demonstrate commercial operation of all generating units.
The Mill Branch Wind Farm will consist of thirty-three Vestas V90 wind turbines connected to a 69-kV high side step up transformer which is connected by a 69-kV cable to the Point of Interconnection.
