Sharyland amends interconnect for 232-MW wind project

Sharyland Utilities LP on Dec. 10 filed with the Public Utility Commission of Texas Amendment No. 1 to a January 2013 Generation Interconnection Agreement with wind project developer Mariah North West LLC.

Mariah North West requested to change the wind turbine generator type, in-service date, size of the phases and counterparties for Phases 2 and 3.

Mariah Phase 1 is a 232-MW project represented as 101 General Electric 2.3-MW wind turbine generators. The point of interconnection is located in Deaf Smith County, Texas, at Sharyland’s Hereford Substation. The amended GIA has a commercial operation date for this project of Nov. 1 of this year.
