Series of storm systems to hit the Pacific Northwest, Intermountain West

A series of storm systems will continue to bring heavy mountain snowfall in excess of one foot, very strong winds, and locally heavy rain to the Pacific Northwest and portions of the Intermountain West through midweek.

The strong winds could cause tree damage and scattered power outages especially over coastal communities from Oregon to Washington, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
