Samsung registers diesel-fired project at Texas facility

Samsung Austin Semiconductor LLC applied Dec. 10 with the Public Utility Commission of Texas for a self-generator registration for a 19.6-MW, diesel-fired project.

The brief registration statement said this project would interconnect into the Austin Energy system and be located on Samsung Boulevard in Austin, which is in Travis County.
