PJM terminates wholesale deal for 17-MW Freehold Solar project in N,J.

PJM Interconnection notified the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission on Dec. 21 of the cancellation of a Wholesale Market Participation Agreement that was filed with the commission in 2014 and was with Freehold Solar W2-088 LLC and interconnecting transmission owner Jersey Central Power & Light.

“The Freehold Solar WMPA is being cancelled because Freehold Solar has decided not to move forward with its project and will not participate in PJM’s markets,” said the filing.

The agreement covered the 17-MQ Freehold Solar Farm, to have been located at Freehold, New Jersey. It was under PJM Queue #W2-088. The project was to be commercially producing in June of 2014.
