PacifiCorp works out interconnect for power project at VA center

PacifiCorp on Dec. 28 filed with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission a Small Generator Interconnection Agreement with VA Salt Lake City Health Care System.

On Dec. 4, the parties entered into the SGIA to memorialize the terms and conditions under which VA Salt Lake City’s small generating facility will interconnect with and operate in parallel with PacifiCorp’s transmission system.

This 2.5-MW facility is to consist of a single Caterpillar/Marelli generator located in Salt Lake County, Utah. The targeted commercial operations date is March 1, 2016.
