Southern California Ed terminates interconnect deal for small solar project

Southern California Edison on Nov. 19 filed with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission notices of cancellation for a Generator Interconnection Agreement with ASE PV Power of Riverside LLC, which had been developing an 8.2-MW (ac) solar project.

The GIA had covered the ASE-Chester T. Adams Project. The commission accepted the GIA in September 2013. “By letter dated July 22, 2015, the Distribution Provider received notice from the Interconnection Customer requesting termination of the GIA and Service Agreement,” said Southern California Edison.
