Harvest Moon registers new solar project in the Houston Load Zone

Harvest Moon Renewable Energy Co. LLC filed a registration as a power generator on Oct. 19 at the Texas Public Utility Commission for a small solar project in the Houston area.

Said the filing about the purpose of the company: “Harvest Moon Renewable Energy Company LLC develops, owns, and operates distributed generation solar projects in the Houston area that serve retail customers in the Houston Load Zone.”

The registration was for the 1.58-MW Harvest Moon 1 facility, to be located at Sealy in Austin County, Texas, in the Houston Load Zone. It would interconnect with the transmission system of CenterPoint.
