San Roman Wind I files for generator status for 93-MW Texas project

San Roman Wind I LLC, which has a 93-MW project in the works in Texas, on Sept. 8 applied with the Public Utility Commission of Texas for designation as a power generation company.

The company said it is a subsidiary of Acciona Wind USA Global LLC. The San Roman Wind Project is located near Fresnos in Cameron County, Texas. It would interconect with AEP Energy.
