
Electric Transmission Texas LLC filed on Sept. 28 at the Public Utility Commission of Texas an ERCOT Standard Generation Interconnection Agreement, dated July 17, with Hidalgo Wind Farm LLC for a 250-MW project.
Hidalgo Wind Farm’s Los Mirasoles Substation will be located in Hidalgo County approximately 3.5 miles west of McCook, Texas. Once the Permanent Facilities are completed and energized, the permanent Point of Interconnection will be located at the dead-end structure inside ETT’s Pomelo 345-kV Station that terminates the project developer’s 345-kV transmission line from the Substation.
This project has a nominal capacity of 250 MW, and is comprised of 125 Vestas V110 2-MW turbines. No specific commercial operation date for the project is given in the LGIA.
