
Campbell County Wind Farm LLC, which is developing a 98-MW project in South Dakota, on Sept. 15 requested that the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission grant it authorization to make wholesale sales of energy, capacity, and ancillary services at market-based rates effective on Nov. 14, 2015.
Campbell County Wind Farm will own and operate a 98-MW wind project located in Campbell County, South Dakota, near the town of Pollock. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of CED Campbell County Wind Farm Holdings LLC, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Consolidated Edison Development Inc., which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Consolidated Edison Inc.
The Campbell County Facility will be interconnected to transmission facilities owned by the Western Area Power Administration. The project company will sell all of the electrical output of its facility to Basin Electric Power Cooperative under a 30-year fixed-price long-term power purchase agreement for 100% of the Campbell County Facility output of energy. The project is due to be in-service in December of this year.
