PJM terminates wholesale deal for 7-MW EffiSolar project in New Jersey

PJM Interconnection on June 4 notified the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission of the cancellation of an April 2014 Wholesale Market Participation Agreement with EffiSolar Energy Corp. and transmission owner Jersey Central Power & Light (JCP&L).

“The EffiSolar WMPA is being cancelled because EffiSolar has decided not to move forward with its interconnection project and will not participate in PJM’s markets,” said PJM.

This agreement covered the 7-MW Dotoli Solar Farm, located at 771 Milford-Frenchtown Road Milford, New Jersey. This project has been under PJM queue position #W4-093.
