Southern California Ed works out interconnect for SunEdison project

Southern California Edison filed on April 2 at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission a Generator Interconnection Agreement with SunEdison Utility Solutions LLC for a small solar project.

SunEdison submitted an application to SCE to interconnect a 1.4 MW (net) solar photovoltaic facility named the Standard Ave.–Santa Ana CA Project, located in Santa Ana, California, at a new 4-way pad-mounted gas switch on the Poker 12 kV distribution line out of Johanna 66/12 kV Substation and transmit energy to the California Independent System Operator-controlled grid.

SunEdison proposes a commercial operation date of March 31, 2016 for the project.
