Sharyland works out interconnect for 300-MW SunEdison wind project in Texas

Sharyland Utilities LP on April 15 filed with the Public Utility Commission of Texas a Generator Interconnection Agreement with South Plains Wind Energy II LLC for a 300.3-MW project.

This project, made up of 91 Vestas V117-3.3 MW wind turbines, would have a Point of Interconnection at Sharyland’s White River Substation in Floyd County, Texas. The agreement notes that the developer can change turbines prior to the commercial operation start for this project. The scheduled commercial operation date for this project is May 31, 2016.
