PJM terminates wholesale deal for 6-MW solar project in New Jersey

PJM Interconnection on April 16 notified the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission of the cancellation of an executed Wholesale Market Participant Agreement with Cinnaminson Solar LLC and transmission owner Public Service Electric and Gas.

The Cinnaminson WMPA was filed with the commission in January 2014. “The Cinnaminson WMPA is being cancelled because Cinnaminson Solar has decided not to move forward with its project and will not participate in PJM’s markets,” said the PJM notice.

Under the agreement, the developer by May 28, 2015, was to demonstrate commercial operation of all generating units. The deal covered the 6-MW Camden (Cinnaminson Solar) project, located at 1017 Union Landing Rd. Cinnaminson, N.J.
