PJM terminates wholesale deal for 18-MW Invenergy project in New Jersey

PJM Interconnection on April 14 notified the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission of the cancellation of an October 2013 Wholesale Market Participant Agreement entered into with Quinton Solar Energy 1 LLC and transmission owner Atlantic City Electric.

“The Quinton WMPA is being cancelled because Quinton has decided not to move forward with its interconnection project and will not participate in PJM’s markets,” said the notice.

The WMPA covered the Quinton Project, located at Route 77 and Jefferson Road in Upper Pittsgrove Township, Salem County, N.J. This 18-MW facility was to be a ground-mounted, inverter-based, solar photovoltaic facility consisting of solar arrays and a 480/12kV collector system. The project had PJM queue Position #V4-024.

The Quinton Solar contact information is for Invenergy Solar Development LLC.
