SunEdison works out interconnect deal for Jurupa solar project in California

Southern California Edison filed on March 20 at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission a Generator Interconnection Agreement and a Service Agreement for Wholesale Distribution Service with SunEdison Utility Solutions LLC for a small solar project.

SunEdison has applied to SCE to interconnect a 1.2-MW (net) solar photovoltaic facility named the Jurupa Street Project, located in Ontario, California, to SCE’s 4-way pad mounted gas switch on the Kessler 12-kV distribution line out of the Milliken 66/12-kV Substation and transmit energy to the California Independent System Operator-controlled grid. SunEdison proposes a commercial operation date of March 31, 2016, for the project.
