PJM files revisions with FERC related to 10-MW solar project in New Jersey

PJM Interconnection on March 6 filed with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission an executed Wholesale Market Participation Agreement with Greenwich Solar W2-091 LLC and transmission owner Jersey Central Power & Light.

“PJM is submitting this WMPA for filing because Greenwich Solar intends to engage in wholesale sales in the PJM markets from a generating facility connected to JCPL’s distribution facilities,” PJM said. The Greenwich Solar WMPA supersedes a First Revised Service Agreement entered into among PJM, Greenwich Solar and JCPL. The new Greenwich Solar WMPA has various changes from the prior filing.

Under the new deal, the developer by June 30, 2014, was to have demonstrated commercial operation of all generating units. This is the 10-MW Stewartsville Solar Farm project, located on Route 57 at Stewartsville, New Jersey.

Developer contact information is: Greenwich Solar W2-091 LLC c/o CEP Solar Gen10 LLC, 20A South Beers Street, Holmdel, NJ 07733.
