PJM files revised wholesale deal for 3-MW solar project in New Jersey

PJM Interconnection on March 17 filed at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission an executed Wholesale Market Participation Agreement with NJR Clean Energy Ventures II Corp. and transmission owner Jersey Central Power & Light.

“PJM is submitting this WMPA for filing because NJR II intends to engage in wholesale sales in the PJM markets from a generating facility connected to JCP&L’s distribution facilities,” PJM wrote. This WMPA supersedes one from 2014 that was entered into among PJM, NJR Clean Energy Ventures Corp. and JCP&L. NJR Clean Energy Ventures Corp. assigned its project to NJR II.

Under both the new and old deals, on or before June 30, 2014, the developer must demonstrate commercial operation of all generating units. The WMPA covers the 3-MW Everitt Solar Farm, located on John Ringo Road in East Amwell Township, New Jersey.

A project contact is; NJR Clean Energy Ventures II Corp., 1415 Wyckoff Road Wall, NJ 07719, Attn: Chris Savastano.
