Invenergy seeks okay for sale of passive interests in Rattlesnake Wind project

Rattlesnake Wind I LLC applied March 30 at the Public Utility Commission of Texas for approval of a plan to offer passive equity interests in the company to EFS Renewable Holdings LLC and BAL Investment & Advisory Inc.

The plan is to close the sale of these interests by the commercial operation date for this 207.2-MW project, which is located in Glasscock County, Texas. The project will be interconnected to the Electric Reliability Council of Texas-controlled grid through facilities operated by Wind Energy Transmission Texas LLC. The current commercial operation target date is July 30 of this year.

Invenergy Investment Co. LLC indirectly owns 100% of the equity interests in Rattlesnake. It will create passive interests in the project to sell to the two parties, and retain managing equity interests for itself.
