Interconnect deals terminated for 2-MW California solar project

Southern California Edison filed with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission March 27 notices of cancellation for a Small Generator Interconnection Agreement and a Service Agreement for Wholesale Distribution Service with Adelanto Greenworks A LLC.

The commission accepted the SGIA and Service Agreement for filing in April 2014. In October 2014, Southern California Edison received an email from Adelanto requesting termination of the SGIA and Service Agreement. The email, which is attached to the FERC filing, doesn’t give a reason for the requested termination. The email is from Adam Foltz of Sustainable Power Group (SPower), afoltz@spower.com.

The terminated agreements covered the 2-MW solar photovoltaic Adelanto Greenworks A project in Victorville, California.

Also on March 27, FERC accepted a Jan. 27 notice from Southern California Edison of the cancellation of a Small Generator Interconnection Agreement and Service Agreement for Wholesale Distribution Service with Adelanto Greenworks B LLC. These deals covered a 2-MW facility named the Adelanto Greenworks B Project.
