Southern California Ed files interconnect deals for three small solar projects

Southern California Edison on Feb. 13 filed with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission three Generator Interconnection Agreements with solar project developers that are related to each other.

Each company submitted an application to SCE to interconnect a solar photovoltaic generating facility to SCE’s distribution system and transmit energy to the California Independent System Operator-controlled grid. They are:

  • Boomer Solar 8 LLC, 200 East Stanley Street Compton Project, 0.5 MW, Compton, California, commercial operation date Dec. 1, 2015;
  • Boomer Solar 22 LLC, 20801 Santa Fe Ave. Carson Project, 0.56 MW, Carson, California, Dec. 1, 2015; and
  • Boomer Solar 14 LLC, 20821 Santa Fe Ave. Carson Project, 0.5 MW, Carson, California, Dec. 1, 2015.
