Snow forecast from central Rockies to lower Great Lakes, rain for Pacific Northwest

An arctic cold front moving through the central U.S. will bring light snow from the central Rockies to the lower Great Lakes on Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

The heaviest snow will be in the Nebraska Panhandle where Winter Storm Warnings are in effect. Meanwhile, unsettled weather is forecast for the Pacific Northwest, with heavy rain possible in some locations.
