TCEQ processes air permit app for new power project

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality said in a Jan. 28 notice, that didn’t give many details, that an air permit application has been filed for a new power project.

Halyard: Energy Wharton, LLC, has applied to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) for issuance of Air Quality Permit Number 129329, which would authorize construction of a power generating plant located near El Campo, Wharton County, Texas 77437,” said the notice. “This application was submitted to the TCEQ on December 22, 2014.” The TCEQ said the application would be available for on-site viewing.
