Bitterly cold temps seen across the Midwest

A strong high pressure system will settle over the Midwest in the middle of the week, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

This will bring subzero low temperatures and highs barely out of the single digits for the upper Mississippi Valley on Tuesday, Jan. 13. Meanwhile, a slow moving low pressure system will bring winter weather to the four corners region, with high elevation accumulating snow expected.
