Storm system moves through Great Plains bringing rain and snow

A storm system will move from the Plains to Great Lakes on Monday bringing snow, some heavy, to parts of the High Plains and Upper Midwest, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

Rain and thunderstorms are forecast in the mid & lower Mississippi Valley. Meanwhile, another storm will move into the West Coast bringing additional rain and mountain snow to California. However, precipitation totals will not be as high as last week’s storm.
