PJM works out wholesale deal for 10-MW Maryland solar project

PJM Interconnection on Dec. 23 filed with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission an executed Wholesale Market Participation Agreement with OneEnergy Wye Mills Solar LLC and transmission owner Delmarva Power and Light for a 10-MW solar project.

“PJM is submitting this Agreement for filing because OneEnergy intends to engage in wholesale sales in the PJM markets from a generating facility connected to Delmarva’s distribution facilities,” PJM noted.

Under this agreement, on or before March 31, 2016, OneEnergy must demonstrate commercial operation of all generating units.

This is the Wye Mills Solar Site project, located adjacent to and north of Queen Anne Hwy (404) approximately 1 mile east of its intersection with Hwy 50 and 2 miles east of the town of Wye Mills, Maryland. This is a 10-MW, ground-mounted, inverter-based, solar photovoltaic facility consisting of solar arrays and a 480/25 kV collector system.

A project contact is: OneEnergy Wye Mills Solar LLC, 101 Yesler Way, Suite 401, Seattle, WA 98104, Attn: Mr. Shane Sobotka.
