PJM Interconnection filed with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission on Dec. 10 an executed interconnection service agreement among PJM, Lakewood Cogeneration LP and transmission owner Jersey Central Power & Light that covers 20 MW of extra capacity at an existing power plant.

The facility consists of a 2×1 combined cycle generator, with each unit connected to a 13.8/230 kV step-up transformer. The Lakewood ISA indicates that Lakewood Cogen shall obtain an increase to the current 222 MW in Capacity Interconnection Rights of 20 MW, totaling 242 MW in Capacity Interconnection Rights.
