PJM works out wholesale deal for 7.1-MW solar project in New Jersey

PJM Interconnection on Nov. 20 filed with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission an executed Wholesale Market Participation Agreement with solar project developer A&S Transportation and transmission owner Public Service Electric and Gas.

“PJM is submitting this Agreement for filing because A&S intends to engage in wholesale sales in the PJM markets from a generating facility connected to PSE&G’s distribution facilities,” said PJM.

This agreement covers the Recovery Road Solar Farm, to be located on Recovery Road at Florence, New Jersey. This is a 7.1-MW solar photovoltaic project. Under the agreement, on or before Jan. 1, 2016, A&S Transportation must demonstrate commercial operation of all generating units.

The project contact is: A&S Transportation, 75 Jacobs Road, Kearny, NJ 07032, Attn: Steven Townsend.
