PJM cancels wholesale deal for 13-MW New Jersey solar project

PJM Interconnection on Oct. 30 notified the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission of the cancellation of a Wholesale Market Participant Agreement with East Windsor Solar W3-078 LLC and transmission owner Jersey Central Power & Light.

“The East Windsor WMPA is being cancelled because East Windsor has decided not to move forward with its interconnection project and will not participate in PJM’s markets,” said the notice.

This April 2012 agreement covered the East Windsor Solar Farm project at 47 Cedarville Road, East Windsor, New Jersey. The 13-MW facility was to include photovoltaic solar panels connected to 250-kW inverters.
