Threat for heavy rains and flash flooding will continue

The threat for heavy rains and flash flooding will continue Wednesday ahead of an unseasonably strong cold front steadily pushing through the Northeast, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

The tail end of the front could cause showers and thunderstorms along the Gulf Coast and across Florida. Heavy downpours are also possible in the Four Corners states the next few days with localized flash flooding.
